To expand our knowledge of the laser we did 3 projects
- Front and back of a notebook
- A waterbottle
- 3D object created from multiple sections of cardboard cut out and put together.
The notebook had a separate front and back. Everything that was black was engraved and everything that was outlined in red to a thickness of .0001 was cut out.
Here is is finished on the laser and ready for paper to be put in it.
Then I had to punch holes into the top of the front and back and cut the paper and punch those to put into the notebook.
Water bottle
To create the water bottle I had to find the dimentions so that I would not overlap my design.
In order to make the laser engrave on the water bottle i had to put the rotational jig so that the water bottle will rotate when it is engraving.
Here is the laser working and it took awhile because of all the scales on the snake.
The final product came out better than I could have hope.
3-D Object
I did not follow the project well so I created a project on my own which would hold my alen keys in my tool box.
These are the sides that hold up the "tray"
This is the finished product that will be changed in the near future to make it stronger.
Conclusion
I learned to draw out my project to make sure it works and consult the teacher if I have doubts about it.
